What I do

Assessments that explain how a person functions

My practice focuses on the assessment of cognitive functioning and neurodivergent profiles: ADHD, giftedness, attention difficulties, learning disorders.

Every assessment starts with an orientation session to clarify the referral question and decide whether a full evaluation is indicated. The protocol is then adapted to the question, and an estimate is given before going further.

The outcome is a feedback session and a written report that you can share with your physician, psychiatrist, school or employer, as you see fit.

How I work

Understanding, not labelling

A tool for understanding

I see an assessment as a tool for understanding, not a search for a label. What matters is how a person functions: what costs them effort, what helps, what drives them.

Several sources, never a single test

No single test confirms or rules out ADHD or giftedness. I combine a structured interview, standardised questionnaires, cognitive testing, developmental history and, where relevant, the perspective of relatives or the school.

Working with physicians

The psychologist carries out the assessment and writes the report. Medical validation of the diagnosis, treatment decisions and prescription remain with the physician or psychiatrist, who receives the report with your consent.

Background

A dual trajectory

Before practising as a psychologist, I spent 28 years, from 1997 to 2025, in IT and corporate environments: IBM, Hitachi Vantara, Swisscom, SPIE ICS.

This background directly informs my clinical stance. I know from the inside the professional contexts many of my patients work in: coordination load, reorganisations, implicit expectations, and what an atypical way of functioning costs or brings to a team.

It is also what led me to work with organisations. My dedicated offer for companies, consulting and an hour bank for managers and neurodivergent employees, is presented on ATYPISME.ch.

To avoid misunderstandings

What I do not do

Medical diagnosis and prescription

These remain with the physician or psychiatrist. My report documents the assessment and is sent to them with your consent.

Conventional skills assessments

I do not offer them. I can, however, support career orientation with psychometric tools, bridging cognitive functioning, personality and professional path.

A single test “just to know”

An online questionnaire or an isolated test is not enough. If the question does not call for a full assessment, I will tell you at the orientation session.
